THE ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT WITH THE CLEAR CORRECT APPLIANCE

  • The Clear Correct appliance is completely invisible thanks to the aligners made of a transparent material, so no one will notice that you are wearing braces.
  • It causes no pain or discomfort due to the fact that it has no brackets or wires - there is only a little pressure when changing each set of aligners.
  • The aligners in the shape of thin transparent mouthpieces are changed at home, without the need to go to the orthodontist to activate the dental appliance, so the dental appliance can also be used in remote orthodontic treatments.
  • Less frequent visits to the orthodontist, the control being done every 6-8 weeks or even 3 months.
  • It is 100% customized and works for the entire duration of its wear, compared to classic devices that only work for the first two weeks after activation.
  • They apply small but reduced forces, thus protecting the teeth from sudden movements and moving them constantly.
  • You can eat anything when you're not wearing the braces. It does not change the hygiene routine.

How does the Clear Correct clear aligners treatment work?

At the first visit, we will talk and find out what are the complaints related to your teeth. You will be taken intraoral pictures, and scans of the teeth and gums. After a thorough analysis, supplemented by x-rays, we will explain to you whether Clear Correct is the recommended for you.

Afterwards, an orthodontic treatment plan is custom created with the help of the special Clear Pilot software, a virtual 3D treatment plan that indicates the movement of each tooth throughout the treatment and gives the patient a clear picture of how his smile will change from day to day and how the smile will look at the end of the treatment.

Each set of custom aligners must be worn for two weeks, during which the teeth migrate, little by little, to their final position. From one set to another you will notice changes in your smile. Aligner sets are changed at home by the patient. During treatment, there are also occasional check-ups with the orthodontist to monitor progress, but these are less frequent than those required by braces. Depending on the complexity of the case, the duration of a Clear Correct treatment varies from person to person, depending on the complexity of the case and how the teeth react. Treatment normally lasts between 6 and 18 months..

After the teeth have reached their final position, there is a period of retention that helps the teeth settle into their new positions.
